Scanning laser aerial LiDAR technology/method of detecting distant objects and determining their position by analyzing the reflected laser impulse of their areas using airborne laser sensor.
LiDAR technology is used for flood risk studies, forest inventory (tree height, vegetation density), transport, 3D modeling of buildings, land management and others. Main products are obtained by LiDAR technology DEM (Digital Elevation Model) and contour lines. These products are made by filtering height classes (soil, vegetation, buildings, etc.) cloud of points (set of coordinates X, Y, Z with a very high density) resulting after aerial laser scanning.
